Stalin Criticizes Modi Over Women's Quota Weaponizing

In a scathing critique, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly weaponizing the Women's Reservation policy against opposition parties, particularly amid state elections. Speaking at a rally, Stalin accused Modi of transforming an official address into a political speech, violating election conduct regulations.

Stalin contended that Modi's televised speech, intended to address the Women's Reservation issue, was misused to attack the opposition. Despite the presence of the national tricolor and ongoing polls, Modi's speech was labeled as a strategic ploy amid political tensions.

Insisting that Modi's government faced its first significant defeat in Parliament over a constitutional amendment bill, Stalin argued that this setback had provoked the deceptive political maneuvers. He claimed that the southern states are reacting unfavorably to Modi's actions, forecasting a significant electoral defeat for the NDA.
