On Thursday, US President Donald Trump asserted that advancements are being made in the US-Iran negotiations. He hinted at his participation in the formalization of a peace agreement, if successfully concluded.
Trump expressed his willingness to sign the agreement in Islamabad, recognizing the mediation role played by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir.
The President lauded Pakistani officials for their significant contribution toward diplomatic progress, saying, 'The field marshal has been great. The prime minister has been really great in Pakistan, so I might go. They want me.'
