Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Wednesday that Israel and the United States share 'identical goals' concerning the ongoing conflict with Iran. He highlighted the need for removal of enriched material, termination of Iran's enrichment capabilities, and the reopening of key maritime routes.

The statement comes amid a fragile two-week ceasefire between Iran and the U.S.-Israel coalition, set to expire on April 22. Despite ongoing negotiations with Lebanon, brokered by the United States, Netanyahu confirmed that the military is prepared for any scenario and continues to target militant positions aggressively.

In the negotiations with Lebanon, a primary focus is the disarmament of Hezbollah and establishing a durable peace. The Israeli Defense Forces maintain active operations in southern Lebanon, aiming to create a buffer zone and implement a disarmament process under U.S. oversight. Despite talks, no ceasefire preparation has been made by the Israeli army.
