BJP's Confidence in Assam and West Bengal Elections: Gadkari's Vision

Union Minister and BJP senior leader Nitin Gadkari expressed strong confidence on Sunday regarding the party's chances in the forthcoming assembly elections in Assam and West Bengal. He stated that the BJP is not against Muslims but opposes infiltrators, setting the tone for the party's campaign.

In an interview with PTI, Gadkari highlighted BJP's policy of inclusivity and detailed the development-centric strategy, which involves large-scale infrastructure investments across the northeastern region, aiming to transform connectivity. Projects worth Rs 5 lakh crore are underway, expected to boost economic growth and trade.

Addressing concerns about political dynamics, Gadkari emphasized that the BJP intends to focus on governance and development, rather than political confrontation. He dismissed allegations of electoral roll manipulation and stated the party's commitment to national interests above all.
