The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has officially requested the Rajya Sabha secretariat to remove Raghav Chadha from his role as the party's deputy leader in the House, sources revealed on Thursday.
Sources suggest that Ashok Mittal, a Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, is poised to take over the position.
The letter further demands that Chadha, also a Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, should be deprived of speaking time from AAP's allotted quota in the House. AAP presently holds 10 seats in the Rajya Sabha, with representation from both Punjab and Delhi.
