Speaking at an election rally in Ambur, Udhayanidhi pointed out Palaniswami's history of shifting loyalties, contrasting it with his own steadfast stance with the people. He accused Palaniswami of secretly visiting Delhi and compromising Tamil Nadu's rights.
Udhayanidhi reaffirmed the DMK's support for the Muslim community in Ambur and their stand on the CAA issue, presenting his party as a guardian of minorities.
