In a fiery session at the Lok Sabha, Lok Janshakti Party MP Shambhavi turned to a remix of a classic qawwali to criticize the opposition. She chastised them for engaging in what she termed 'negative politics', which, according to her, is being dismissed by the public.
During the discourse on The Finance Bill, 2026, Shambhavi delivered a couplet, pointing out that while positive developments are visible to some, the opposition perceives nothing noteworthy. She equated these perceptions to lines from the hit musical 'Dhurandhar', highlighting a classic yet remixed qawwali.
Her critique extended to Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, as she humorously noted the contradiction in calling the economy ‘dead’. Shambhavi argued that such statements undermine the efforts of various sectors driving India to economic prominence under PM Modi’s leadership.
