In a tragic incident, a 26-year-old Indian national named Ravi Gopal was reportedly killed in a missile attack in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to his family's claims made on Saturday.

Gopal, who hailed from Baghain village under Mahmudabad Police Station limits, had been employed as a driver at a plastic factory in the Saudi capital since September 2025. His last communication with his family was on the night of March 18. Soon after, his family was informed by his friend, Ram Niwas, also in Saudi Arabia, about Gopal's untimely demise due to an alleged missile strike.

Efforts are underway to confirm the details of the incident, including coordination between the Indian government, the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, and local authorities for the verification of events and the repatriation of his body. The bereaved family is seeking compensation and assistance from the administration, with officials ensuring constant communication and support.
