In a call for unity, veteran Congress leader A K Antony has advised K Sudhakaran to adhere to the party high command's decisions, as challenging as they may be, to ensure the defeat of the ruling CPI(M)-led LDF in Kerala.
Antony's appeal follows reports of Sudhakaran's dissatisfaction at not being chosen as the Congress candidate for the Kannur constituency in the upcoming assembly elections scheduled for April 9.
Highlighting Sudhakaran's long-time opposition to the Marxists, Antony urged him to accept the party’s decision to prevent a third consecutive term for the LDF, reiterating the need for internal consensus and discipline.
