Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has positioned herself against BJP heavyweight Suvendu Adhikari in both Bhabanipur and Nandigram, setting the stage for a high-stakes electoral clash. The BJP, meanwhile, has released a list of 144 contenders, with new faces and familiar ones vying for seats, including actor Rudranil Ghosh from Shibpur.
The polls are set for April 23 and 29, with vote counting on May 4, marking a critical juncture for both parties to assert dominance in this political theater.
