Speaking to PTI, Viswam underscored a strong pro-LDF sentiment throughout the state, contrary to claims of anti-incumbency by the opposition.
Viswam critiqued the Congress-led United Democratic Front's (UDF) alliance with Islamist groups, likening them to religious extremists. He asserted that the Left’s stance maintains alignment with true believers while opposing the exploitation of religion for political gain. This forms a pivotal part of the LDF's platform, seeking to block extremist influences.
