Dan Caldwell: From Pentagon Controversy to Intelligence Advisory Role

Dan Caldwell, who previously served as an adviser to U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, has transitioned to a new role within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, as reported by the New York Times.

This follows his removal from the Pentagon amid an unauthorized disclosure investigation, as first noted by Reuters in April.

Caldwell, along with two other former Pentagon officials, challenged the investigation's findings, claiming character attacks. Critics have scrutinized Caldwell's past positions, although some argue they simply aim to adjust America's defense priorities.
