Former Union Minister Sharad Pawar has labeled the assassination attempt on Farooq Abdullah as "deeply concerning." The gunfire incident occurred during a wedding ceremony attended by Abdullah and Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary.
Thankfully, no one was injured, which provides great relief amid rising safety concerns.
The 88-year-old National Conference president was targeted at close range while departing a marriage venue in Jammu's Greater Kailash area. Pawar extended heartfelt wishes for the safety and well-being of all involved.
