Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum declared on Wednesday her decision not to take legal action against tech mogul Elon Musk after his controversial comment on social media platform X, which linked her to drug cartels.
During a morning press conference, Sheinbaum addressed the issue, stating that if similar accusations continued, they might reassess the situation.
The dispute originated from Musk's reaction to a 2025 video where Sheinbaum discussed cartel violence, implying her narrative was influenced by cartel leaders.
