US Moves Towards Control in Iranian Airspace Amid Leadership Speculations

The United States is on the verge of extending its control over Iranian airspace, according to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Friday. Leavitt detailed Washington's expectation of achieving their strategic goals within four to six weeks.

Discussing leadership changes in Iran, Leavitt noted U.S. interest in influencing Iran's choice of a new leader. President Donald Trump, in a recent interview, affirmed America's involvement in selecting Iran's future leader and refuted the likelihood of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's son succeeding his late father.

Reiterating President Trump's stance, Leavitt stated the U.S. will only engage in talks with Iran following its unconditional surrender. This echoes Trump's criteria for negotiating, which specify Iran must cease to be a threat to the United States and accept U.S. conditions completely.
