Key states include Maharashtra, which has the highest number of seats at seven, followed by Tamil Nadu with six, and West Bengal with five. The polling on March 16 will adhere to traditional timings, set between 9 am and 4 pm, with results tallied from 5 pm onward.
Noteworthy political figures stepping down include Sharad Pawar of the NCP-SP, Abhishek Singhvi from Congress, and Saket Gokhale of TMC, among others.
