In a shocking development in Kerala, Suhail Ansari, a state-level leader of the Youth Congress, has been taken into custody following the alleged suicide of a 35-year-old woman, police sources revealed this Wednesday.
The woman was discovered hanging at her husband's residence in Kadambanad four days ago, with an alleged suicide note pointing to Ansari as the cause of her distress. Investigation officials noted that Ansari, who hails from Kollam district, was reportedly a friend of the deceased.
As the inquiry progresses, the authorities have emphasized that no arrest has yet been made. "Interrogation is ongoing and further actions will depend on the details we uncover regarding Ansari's involvement," said a police spokesperson.
