National Conference president Farooq Abdullah has asserted that social justice and equitable development are central to the party's ideology. Speaking at an event on Sunday, he praised the inclusive governance efforts of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the event, Abdullah welcomed numerous members from the BJP and Panthers Party into the National Conference. He expressed hope that this influx would bolster the party's grassroots presence in the Jammu region, particularly in Udhampur. The growing support, he noted, is a testament to the public's trust in the party's commitment to secularism and inclusive development.
Abdullah highlighted the party's consistent advocacy for backward classes and marginalized communities. He urged party members to unite and engage in proactive public outreach as the urban local body and panchayat polls approach, focusing on unity and discipline to deepen their connection with the populace.
