Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has launched a scathing attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. This follows Gandhi's controversial remarks labeling Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu as a 'traitor', during a verbal exchange outside Parliament. Highlighting historical grievances, Sirsa accused Gandhi of perpetuating anti-Sikh sentiments reminiscent of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Addressing the issue, Sirsa condemned Gandhi's language against the Sikh community, particularly in reference to a fellow Sikh leader. He argued that calling a Sikh 'traitor' was an affront to the community and indicative of an unchanged mindset within Congress. The Delhi Minister strongly urged the Lok Sabha Speaker to take immediate action against Gandhi for his alleged insults.

Echoing similar sentiments, BJP Spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill criticized Gandhi's comments on social media platform X. Shergill accused Gandhi of belittling the contributions of Sikhs to the nation while highlighting his own perceived inadequacies in leadership. The controversy underscores ongoing tensions between Congress and BJP as former Congress member Ravneet Singh Bittu justified his switch to the BJP.
