Owaisi Grills Government Over India's China Border Patrols

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi took the Indian government to task, questioning its effectiveness in handling relations with China. On Tuesday, Owaisi questioned whether the Indian Army can patrol all areas it previously managed before April 2020.
Owaisi demanded answers about the 'deal' that has been made with China and asked whether the Narendra Modi government has managed to halt China's military support to Pakistan. Citing an international report, he highlighted the rapid infrastructure development on China's side of the Ladakh border since 2020.
The Hyderabad MP also criticized the imposed restrictions on Indian military action at the border, stating that these represent a concession to China's view of the Line of Actual Control. Parliament operations were disrupted as eight MPs faced suspension after attempting to raise these issues.
