Jose K Mani, chairman of Kerala Congress (M), visited Bishop Antony Kattiparambil of the Kochi Roman Catholic Church on Thursday. Both figures confirmed the meeting was personal, dispelling rumors of political discourse.
Mani clarified to reporters that no political issues were part of the hour-long discussion and emphasized his party’s commitment to the Left Democratic Front (LDF), despite rumors of rejoining the United Democratic Front (UDF).
Bishop Kattiparambil corroborated the private nature of their meeting, noting only minor church-related issues were mentioned. Kerala Congress (M)'s future election strategies, including seat demands, remain aligned with the LDF.
