Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday projected confidence in the Mahagathbandhan's chances in the Bihar assembly elections, pointing to alleged 'corruption and mismanagement' within the Nitish Kumar-led NDA. Siddaramaiah expressed his intention to campaign in Bihar, arguing that the current government lacks a coherent ideology, with its alliance structured from multiple parties.
"I will definitely go," he stated, believing that the opposition alliance could seize victory. He cited the anti-incumbency sentiment and the BJP's governance failures as key factors in the upcoming elections. Highlighting his government's initiatives, he noted the Karnataka Grihalakshmi scheme's success in contrast to similar NDA assurances, accusing Nitish Kumar of forming alliances devoid of true ideology.
Meanwhile, Union Minister and LJP leader Chirag Paswan mocked RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s optimism about Mahagathbandhan's victory as fanciful, predicting NDA’s return to power. He dismissed suggestions Mahagathbandhan could take charge on November 18, asserting confidence in Nitish Kumar's leadership and a November 14 victory declaration.
