Maharashtra Politics: Allegations of Appeasement and Election Manipulation

Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar has leveled serious accusations against Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and MNS head Raj Thackeray. He claims they are engaging in appeasement politics aimed at exerting undue pressure on government staff ahead of the state's crucial local body elections.

According to Shelar, the opposition is fabricating a 'fake narrative' to sway the electorate. He slammed the Thackerays and MVA leaders for allegedly creating discord among voters, particularly by highlighting multiple entries of Hindu voters while ignoring those from other communities.

Shelar further accused the opposition of a political decline due to their divisive tactics, urging them to support the Election Commission's voter list review process. He emphasized that true electoral fairness requires unbiased scrutiny, beyond selective outrage.
