Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan on Monday criticized RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav for his optimistic claim of forming a government in Bihar. Paswan dismissed Yadav's confidence as fantasy, referencing the phrase 'Mungeri Lal ke haseen sapne.' He further stated that on November 14, the NDA would establish the government under CM Nitish Kumar's leadership.
Tejashwi Yadav had confidently stated that the Mahagathbandhan would form the next government and scheduled the swearing-in for November 18. Yadav highlighted issues like rampant lawlessness in Bihar, promising strict action against criminals post-elections. While addressing reporters, Yadav assured that regardless of caste or religion, lawbreakers would face imprisonment during his tenure.
Paswan also took aim at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for claiming Prime Minister Narendra Modi was influenced by industrialists. Paswan deemed these remarks disrespectful, lauding Modi's governance in lifting 25 crore people out of poverty. The exchange comes after Gandhi, during a rally, criticized Modi's leadership, alleging he is intimidated by international pressures and industrial magnates.
