Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta slammed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday, asserting that efforts to manipulate pollution data were unfounded. She urged the opposition to focus on constructive activities rather than spreading misinformation about environmental initiatives.
The AAP had accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of shutting down pollution monitoring stations during Diwali and manipulating the Air Quality Index (AQI) data. Gupta responded by emphasizing the transparency of pollution data, stating that anyone could verify AQI at any location.
Gupta further highlighted achievements such as the successful Chhath celebrations, dismissing AAP's criticisms as theatrical. With eight months into the BJP tenure, she urged the opposition to support progress instead of engaging in baseless allegations.
