In a fiery exchange of words, Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Jha called out Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for what he described as a 'shameful' affront to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Jha condemned Gandhi's 'dance' comment, asserting it reflects a growing trend within the Opposition party's culture of using derogatory language.
Jha went on to remind observers of past personal jibes directed at Modi, particularly noting attacks on the Prime Minister's mother during a rally in Bihar. 'The repeated insults speak volumes about the party's ethos,' he remarked, hinting that such remarks may trickle down to party members.
Meanwhile, in the lead-up to the crucial 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi seized the spotlight with robust allegations against the NDA. At a Muzaffarpur rally, Gandhi accused the ruling coalition of engaging in 'vote theft' and manipulating elections in Bihar, Maharashtra, and Haryana, while pledging to intensify the campaign alongside ally Tejashwi Yadav.
