At a rally in Barh, Patna, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh proposed that a two-thirds majority win by NDA in Bihar would honor Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's legacy on the day of his birth anniversary, coinciding with the election results. Singh lambasted the RJD, asserting voters don't want a return to 'jungle raj.'
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a developed India akin to Nehru's aspirations, Singh pointed out the achievements of CM Nitish Kumar. Citing Bihar's economic growth and women's welfare policies, Singh contended that the NDA government has transformed the state.
Singh accused opposition parties of targeting constitutional bodies and making false promises. He criticized their claims about the Waqf Act amendments and insinuated they sought votes from illegal Bangladeshi immigrants, asserting BJP’s commitment to fair politics.
