Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraaj Party, has dismissed the announcement of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as a chief ministerial candidate for the INDIA bloc in Bihar. Kishor argued that the projection would not affect public sentiment, deeming Yadav's promises as insubstantial.

Speaking in Siwan during his party's campaign, Kishor expressed skepticism over Yadav’s pledges, such as granting government employee status to contractual workers. He also downplayed the announcement of Mukesh Sahni as a potential deputy chief minister, calling it a desperate attempt to sway voters.

Despite acknowledging the potential fall of NDA's influence, Kishor remains confident that Jan Suraaj will secure the next government in Bihar. Meanwhile, the Jan Suraaj Party’s candidate from Sitamarhi, Zeyauddin Khan, withdrew his nomination, citing pressure and sacrifice for societal interests.
