Jailed ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan has vehemently criticized Pakistan's Army Chief, Asim Munir, accusing him of turning the nation into a 'hard state' through authoritarian means.
The 73-year-old Khan, imprisoned over the past two years, claims the current leadership is eroding democratic pillars and simply substituting them with what he labels 'Asim Law.' Khan expressed his grievances on social media, stressing that a nation's strength lies in its people's support and consent.
In his criticisms, Khan laments his prison isolation, asserting he is deprived of basic rights and access to political colleagues. He warns that recent shifts in leadership have undermined the peace his party's policies once brought to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while tensions with Afghanistan escalate.
