Drone fragments were recovered in the southeastern Romanian city of Galati after a Russian attack on neighboring Ukraine overnight. The attack resulted in damage to an electricity pole and a household annex, as reported by Romania's defense ministry.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the incident, the ministry confirmed.
This marks the first occasion where property damage in Romania has been linked to drone fragments falling onto its territory since Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure across the Danube river.
