Iran has executed a man identified as Soltanali Shirzadi Fakhr, according to the judiciary's news outlet, Mizan. The individual was accused of being linked to both the exiled opposition group Mujahideen-e-Khalq (MEK) and Israeli intelligence.

Mizan reported that Fakhr had been a long-time member of the MEK and was found guilty of collaborating with Israel's intelligence services. His death sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court after the legal process was completed.

This execution underscores the ongoing tensions and judicial measures taken by the Iranian government against those accused of espionage or opposition-linked activities.
