Kolasib's Deputy Commissioner H Dolianbuaia conducted a comprehensive review of the Mizoram-Assam border areas on Wednesday, focusing on security and infrastructure development, officials reported.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner met with Mizoram Armed Police and Indian Reserved police officers across three critical locations, discussing the security dynamics, operational hurdles, and infrastructure necessities.
At the Sabual border, Dolianbuaia addressed the persistent challenges experienced by stationed personnel and commended their dedication. Additionally, he assessed the ongoing extension of NH-306, emphasizing the need for resolution to project impediments.
