Tragic Loss: Poisonous Gas Claims Lives of Three Laborers in Bihar

In a tragic incident in Bihar's Bhagalpur district, three laborers lost their lives to suffocation while cleaning a septic tank, officials reported. The victims, identified as Bam Bam Mandal, Srilal Mandal, and Jai Nandan Mandal, inhaled poisonous gases that proved fatal.
The unfortunate event occurred in the village of Khairpur Kadwa, located approximately 25 kilometers from the district headquarters, Naugachia sub-division. Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has extended condolences and confirmed an ex-gratia compensation of Rs two lakh for the bereaved families.
According to Om Prakash, the Sub Divisional Officer of Naugachia, the bodies were recovered with assistance from local residents and are now undergoing post-mortem examinations. Authorities assured that the announced financial aid would reach the families of the deceased swiftly.
