A tragic incident occurred in Peddapalli district on Monday, as a three-year-old girl was fatally attacked by stray dogs at a brick kiln site, according to official sources.
The attack happened when the young victim was playing near the residential area for workers in Katnepally village. The dogs reportedly dragged her into a nearby agricultural field. Her parents, migrant laborers from Odisha, became concerned when she failed to return home and later discovered her body in the field.
Preliminary information indicates the child sustained severe injuries from dog bites to her hands and neck. Authorities have transferred her body to the Government Hospital in Sultanabad mandal for a post-mortem examination. The police have initiated an investigation to uncover more details about the incident.
