China and Italy Forge New Economic Ties

China is aiming to deepen its economic ties with Italy, with a focus on expanding collaboration in various sectors including e-commerce, agriculture, and healthcare. This was announced by China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao during a meeting with Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in Beijing on Thursday.

The Chinese Commerce Ministry released a statement on Friday highlighting the untapped potential for economic and trade cooperation between the two nations. Wang emphasized the importance of joint efforts to enhance bilateral relations and develop mutual understanding in key areas.

Both countries are expected to explore new avenues for collaboration, such as industrial parks, further enhancing their economic partnerships and contributing to global trade dynamics.
