Panic in Budaun as Infant Abducted During Wedding

An infant was reportedly abducted by an unidentified woman during a wedding in Budaun, sparking widespread panic, police confirmed Thursday. The shocking incident was caught on CCTV cameras at the scene.
According to the complaint by Shanti Devi from the neighbouring Sambhal district, she arrived in Budaun on Wednesday for the wedding. She had placed her one-year-old son, Saurabh, to sleep in a room before attending the 'Jaimala' ceremony. Upon returning, she discovered her child was missing.
Police, led by Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Hridyesh Singh Katheria, have deployed four specialized teams to locate the missing infant. The investigation, ongoing at the Islamnagar police station, involves analyzing multiple CCTV feeds, identifying a suspect vehicle, and executing targeted raids.
