Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), the nation's predominant coking coal producer, has cast serious allegations on the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), accusing it of negligence in preventing illegal coal mining and safeguarding staff at Dhanbad collieries.
The company flagged critical security gaps, requesting a review of CISF's Crime and Intelligence Wing after reports of coal mafia assaults and alleged CISF collaboration surfaced.
Despite the FIRs lodged, CISF dismissed these claims, stating their personnel promptly addressed security breaches and are conducting investigations into purported illegal operations near their duty points.
