In Latur, seven cases related to noise pollution have been registered following Ambedkar Jayanti processions, according to a police official on Thursday. The accused include sound system operators, system owners, and organizing committee office-bearers.

Police priorly urged organizers to adhere to noise pollution norms and ensure public order. While the majority complied, a few exceptions led to violations categorized under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Maharashtra Police Act, and Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules.

Five cases emerged in Udgir, while Ahmedpur and Kingaon each saw a single case, reflecting disparities in adherence to public noise regulations during celebrations.
