The Delhi Assembly has heightened security measures for its Speaker, Vijender Gupta, following a series of bomb threats.
According to official sources, the speaker has been provided with Z category security due to repeated threatening emails since the budget session started on March 23.
The reinforcement comes after a security breach where a man intruded onto the premises. To ensure the safety of its members and staff, the Assembly is enhancing its security infrastructure, as indicated in a statement.
