Cyber Chase Ends in Arrest: Ghaziabad Man Nabbed for Job Fraud
A 28-year-old man, Keshav Kumar Karn, was arrested in Ghaziabad for duping a Delhi woman out of Rs 1.51 lakh via a job fraud scheme. Karn used a scam link to compromise the victim's phone, resulting in unauthorized bank transactions. Authorities traced the transactions to Karn, leading to his arrest.

A 28-year-old Ghaziabad man was apprehended for allegedly defrauding a Delhi woman of Rs 1.51 lakh under the guise of job application assistance, police reported on Saturday.
The accused, Keshav Kumar Karn, was detained by the Cyber police station team in Shahdara district, following a complaint from an East Rohtash Nagar resident. The woman reported that her phone was compromised after clicking a fraudulent link, enabling unauthorized bank deductions.
Police investigations revealed that part of the stolen funds, Rs 10,000, were traced back to a bank account in Khoda Colony, leading to Karn's capture. Despite an escape attempt, police managed to arrest him. Further probes revealed that Karn operated as a bank CSP, facilitating fraudulent transactions. The case continues under investigation.
