Tensions Erupt: Iraq Closes Shalamcheh Border After Fatal Airstrikes

Security sources disclosed that the strikes targeted a passenger reception zone, resulting in severe injuries to at least five Iraqis. Iraqi police were tasked with recovering the deceased Iraqi man's body while those injured were rushed to hospitals, with their conditions largely being critical.
Iraqi border authorities responded swiftly, ordering the closure of the crossing to both trade and travelers, an official statement revealed.
