Global Conspiracy: US-Ukraine Drone Training Under Terrorism Probe

In a significant move, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has disclosed to a Delhi court that an American national alongside six Ukrainians are under scrutiny for allegedly being part of a terror conspiracy. This conspiracy is suspected to be connected to ethnic rebel factions in both India and Myanmar, where drone training was reportedly imparted by the accused.

Proceedings took place under the auspices of NIA Special Judge Prashant Sharma, who extended the federal anti-terrorism agency's custody over the suspects by an additional ten days. The court proceedings highlighted revelations of cross-border activities and potential breaches of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), as the accused allegedly moved from Mizoram to Myanmar for illicit purposes.
