British police declared on Monday that the assault on Jewish community ambulances in North London is not currently classified as a terrorist act. Despite this, the investigation is under the leadership of counter-terrorism officers.
"This case has not yet been labeled a terrorist incident, yet it is now being managed by counter-terrorism policing," stated Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams. "Their expertise is crucial as they explore all possible inquiries."
Williams also mentioned an online claim from a group taking responsibility for the attack. "We are working to verify its authenticity," he said, emphasizing the need for caution in confirming such claims.
