The Capacity Building Commission (CBC) will convene a week-long conclave next month aimed at bolstering governance capabilities within central and state government departments, officials announced on Thursday. Dubbed Sadhana Saptah, the event is scheduled for April 2-8 and focuses on thematic and sector-specific fortification of governance capabilities.
Sadhana Saptah will concentrate on three primary themes: technology, tradition, and tangible outcomes. Under the technology theme, discussions will delve into artificial intelligence and emerging technologies reshaping sectors. Special attention will be given to sector-specific AI applications, regulatory preparedness, and integration of digital public infrastructure.
Additionally, the conclave will highlight Indian knowledge systems and indigenous innovations. It will also explore citizen impact tracking and prioritize sectoral outcomes through dashboard-based monitoring. CBC officials aim to conclude the event with each ministry articulating clear technology and tradition interventions, along with measurable outcomes for the financial year 2026–27.
