Aligning with the United Nations' declaration of 2026 as the International Year of the Woman Farmer—led by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)—the Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited (AIC) has launched the 'Krishi Sakhi Initiative', a nationwide campaign aimed at empowering women farmers and advancing inclusive agricultural growth.
