Government Cracks Down on Misleading Coaching Centre Ads

During a session in the Lok Sabha, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi announced stringent actions, including multiple notices and penalties, resulting in a noticeable decrease in such deceptive practices.
Minister Joshi emphasized the importance of upholding consumer rights, noting significant efforts to curb violations. This proactive approach aims to ensure that coaching centers conduct their marketing practices ethically and transparently.
In a separate matter, the Lok Sabha paid respects to former member Kavuru Sambasiva Rao. The session paused for a moment of silence, though Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla expressed disappointment over members' distractions during the tribute.
