Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed her deep distress over the incident on social media platform X, highlighting the gravity of the situation. The Delhi government has mobilized extensive resources, with the district administration, Delhi Fire Service, and Delhi Police spearheading the rescue efforts.
Authorities, including Lt Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, have assured the public that rescue and firefighting operations are under close scrutiny, with every possible support being offered to the affected families. A total of 30 fire tenders were deployed, responding rapidly to the fire call received early Wednesday near Palam Metro Station.
