Despite NATO countries' general support for the ongoing U.S.-Israeli operation, entering its third week, they resisted active participation. Trump emphasized the United States must remember this collective hesitation, saying, 'We think it's pretty shocking.'

Trump urged for assistance in securing the Strait of Hormuz, vital for global oil transport, following Iran's defensive tactics using drones and missiles. Allies, however, remain reticent to deploy military resources to help open the strait, challenging Trump's call for action. Earlier Trump noted on Truth Social that the U.S.'s military success has diminished its reliance on NATO support.
