A heartbreaking case of suspected double suicide emerged as two individuals were discovered deceased in a forested area near Parwanoo in Solan district, Police reported on Tuesday. Authorities have identified the deceased as Yashika Lama, a 20-year-old Nepalese resident of Deonghat, and Karan, a 22-year-old from Padgyani village in the same district.
The grim discovery was made on Monday evening when a local, visiting a nearby temple, stumbled upon the bodies and informed the police. Upon arrival, law enforcement found the man hanging from a tree while the woman lay on the ground, hinting at a joint tragic end.
Solan Superintendent of Police, Tirumalaraju S D Verma, confirmed the fatalities and stated that an investigation has been initiated. Officers gathered crucial evidence from the scene, hoping to uncover the circumstances that led to this devastating event.
