Tragic Family Dispute Turns Fatal in Patna

In a heartbreaking event in Patna's Phulwari Sharif locality, an elderly woman named Shabra Khatoon was allegedly murdered by her daughter-in-law, Gulaksha Parveen. The tragic incident unfolded on Monday in Murgiya Tola, a region falling under the Phulwari Sharif police station jurisdiction.

According to Sushil Kumar, SDPO of Phulwari Sharif, Khatoon was reportedly attacked with a rolling pin and was gagged with clothes. Despite efforts to save her life, she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday after being transported to Patna AIIMS for medical attention.

Initially treated at a local clinic, Khatoon's condition worsened, leading to her husband seeking further medical help. Authorities have registered an FIR against the accused, and a post-mortem examination is underway to facilitate legal proceedings.
